Chapter 128

P is all ready for a new semester!

That means more homework.

Hopefully this semester will be easier. P has to make one presentation and write two term papers. The other one is an exam, I can't stand those, because I can never tell if she's prepared or not. She always studies for them, but they never seem to work in her favor.

SOMEONE STOLE P'S MICROWAVE AND PUT A STEREO ON TOP! WHYYY?!

Let's hope P doesn't notice.

Off to her first class of the semester!

Penelope: "I'm gonna own this semester."

Penelope: "I'm gonna study non-stop."

P's greatest joy in life is riding this bike back to the dorm after her classes.

Penelope: "Actually, my greatest joy in life is stealing the food the roomies put out."

Why are you eating the mascot?

Penelope: "Because it tastes good, that's why!"

More homework.

The sunset is so pretty in Britechester!

Almost as pretty as Sulani.

Time for P to make a start on her final presentation of university.

Penelope: "Thank god."

Penelope: "What can I place on this empty green board?"

Mood.

(I don't know why I laughed so hard when this happened in game.)

Looks like P has made a pretty good start.

This radio...

...and this radio are literally on all the time at the same time. The roomies win again. Roomies - 92847, Penelope - 0.

Penelope: "I may not have beat the roomies, but I always beat the mascot. I've been eating him for 2 days."

Welp.

Penelope: "Hey, Dylan!"

Penelope: "What do you mean you joined the Foxbury cheer squad?"

Penelope: "That's not cringey. Nope. Not at all."

Another day, another class to attend.

Where's your beautiful bike?

Penelope: "Don't worry, it's in my underwear, AKA, my inventory."

So that's where all those items go?

P found another beautiful, peaceful spot to do her homework.

Away from the roomies.

Penelope: "I love being away from the roomies."

Uh oh, here comes a student.

Penelope: "Say what?"

Student: "Whatcha doin'?"
Penelope: *Please go away, please go away, please go away.*

Student: "Biology? I've done that degree before. Now I've gone the athletic route, it's so much more fun, but I'll probably change my mind. I can be a bit indecisive."
Penelope: *Let me just pretend I can't hear her. Ugh, never mind, she's too annoying to ignore.*

Penelope: "You know you're distracting me, right? I'm trying to do my homework."

Student: "I can help you, I'm an expert at homework. I'm also an expert at eliminating annoying roomies."

Penelope: "Eliminating annoying roomies? You've got my attention!"

Student: "I can teach you all my ways."

Penelope: "Spill it."

Student: "Well, you can always put rotten fish in their rooms. Eventually, they won't be able to tolerate it anymore, and they'll find a new dorm. I've done it a million times."

Penelope: "That's it? Just stinking out their room with fish? You know my roomies don't have a sense of smell, right? They always stink."

Student: "Uh..."

Student: "Sorry for bothering you, I'll get going now."

Penelope: "What is wrong with these sims?"

Penelope: "Does every sim in this university exist solely to disrupt me?"

Yes.

Penelope: "Well, it's working."

Penelope: "Ugh! I don't wanna go back to my dorm. There's so many dumb roomies there!"

Oh look, P. Another student has sat down to join you.

Penelope: "Nope."

Penelope: "I'm out."

Penelope: "What's wrong with these roomies?!"

Penelope: "Can't I just study and do my homework in peace?!"

A good ol' bike ride will fix it.

Even if it's back to the dorm.

She's even riding up ramps to get away from the other students.

Penelope: "I'm out of breath, but at least I'm away from that random student."

I've got some bad news for you, there's even more students in this dorm.

Penelope: "At least I can hide from them."

Penelope: "I'm gonna need this drink which is made from 90% sugar to get through this night."

It's gonna be a long night for P. She has to finish her presentation.

Penelope: "Ugh, this drink is horrible."

All soda is horrible.

She's very focused.

Penelope: "Quick ham and cheese break."

Why am I imagining intense music?

Penelope: "Because this is intense."

She finally finished! It looks amazing!

Now, time for class.

Penelope: "I still have even more homework to do after this class."

After class, P found another nice spot to do her homework, but she noticed there was a sim standing in the same spot.

But, unlike the other sims she had encountered, Penelope thought this sim was absolutely beautiful.

Her heart skipped a beat when she first saw her.

Penelope: "Uh... hi. Are you here to study too?"

Emily: "Oh, hi!"

Penelope: *Why is my heart beating so fast? What's happening?*

Emily: "No, I'm not here to study."

Penelope: "You're not?"

Penelope: "What are you here for then?"

Emily: "I'm actually here to pick up some things I left here. I graduated last semester. I felt a bit nostalgic being here, so I decided to take a walk around the campus."

Penelope: "Oh, you graduated already?"

Emily: "Yeah."

Penelope: "That's cool! What was your degree?"

Emily: "Thanks! It was a degree in art history."

Penelope: *Oh my god, she's so pretty and nice. My heart won't stop racing.*

Penelope: "Well, I'm here for one more semester."

Emily: "You are? So that must mean you graduate soon, right?"

Penelope: "Yeah! I can't wait."

The more they talked, the more butterflies Penelope started to feel.

Penelope: *I could listen to her talk all day.*

Emily: "I remember how eager I was to get away from my roomies once I graduated."

Emily: "So, you need any help with your homework?"

Penelpe: "Ha! Really?"

Penelope: "You know about biology with your art history degree?"

Emily: "I'd say I know a fair amount. Shoot me a question."

Penelope: "Okay... what's the gestation period for a blue whale?"

Emily: "Uh... 9 months?"

Penelope: "Ha! You're wrong! It's actually 10-12 months."

Emily: "Hmm... well, I was close."

Penelope: "Yeah, not bad. My roomies would have gotten that question wrong by a long shot."

Emily: "I hated my roomies! They were always like, YoU nEeD tO sToP LeAviNg YoUr DiRtY pLaTeS eVeRyWhErE. Meanwhile, they were the ones leaving dirty plates everywhere."

Penelope: *Oh my god, this woman is my soulmate.*

Emily: "Well, I gotta get going. It was nice talking to you, Penelope."

Penelope: "Nice talking to you too, Emily."

Penelope: "Why am I feeling butterflies?"

Penelope: "What the hell is this feeling?"

Penelope: "I don't feel things! I'm a cold hearted Parsons! What is happening to me?!"

Penelope: "Could I really be crushing on another sim?"

Penelope felt simultaneously happy and annoyed. She had never felt this way before about another sim. She was definitely developing a crush on Emily. It takes a lot for a Parsons to feel any kind of love feeling. They're cold hearted beasts.

Penelope: "I don't like love."

Penelope: "Make this feeling stop! It had better be gone by the time I get back to the dorm."

Little did P know, Emily was actually back at P's dorm catching up with an old friend.

Honey, you've got a big storm comin'.

Penelope: "Why can't I stop thinking about Emily? It's driving me nuts!"

Penelope: "Okay, now I can take my mind off all of this 'love' stuff with a ham and cheese sandwich."

Penelope: "You've got to be kidding me."

Emily: "Oh, hi, Penelope. What are you doing here?"

Penelope: "Hi, Emily. This is my dorm."

Emily: "It is? Well, I wasn't stalking you, I was just catching up with an old friend."

Penelope: "You sound a bit guilty."

Emily: "Hahaha! Well, I'm not mad that I get to see you again."

Penelope: "Well, I'm kinda mad that you were here when I came back."

Emily: "You were? Why?"

Penelope: "Well, it's just... never mind."

Emily: "I could leave if you want."

Penelope: "NO! I mean... no, you should stay a while."

Emily: "You sound pretty eager for me to stay considering you were mad just two minutes ago about me being here."

Penelope: *Why am I acting like such an idiot in front of her?*

Emily: "That turkey looks pretty delicious."

Penelope: "It is, I stole it from another roomie."

Penelope: "When I put it in my mini fridge, they're like StOp StEaLiNg OuR fOoD."

Emily: "Hahaha! I used to steal my roomie's food all the time!"

Penelope: "You did?"

Emily: "Yeah, I'm pretty sure they hated me for it too."

Penelope: *How could anyone ever hate you?*

Penelope: "I've been working on this new creation in class. It's a tool which should help me detect animals underwater."

Emily: "Woah!"

Emily: "This is the coolest thing ever!"

Penelope: *She just gets better and better.*

Emily: "I'd love to see you use it."

Penelope: "You can if you come snorkelling with me one day."

Emily: "Don't take me as the weak type. I can do better than snorkelling, I can go deep diving too."

Penelope: "You would go deep diving? I wasn't sure you'd be up for that."

Emily: "Like I said, never take me for the weak type."

Penelope: "Point noted."

Emily: "You mind if I take a look around the dorm for a bit?"

Penelope: "Sure, go for it."

Emily: "There's one room I really wanna see again."

Penelope: "There is?"

Emily: "Are you sure the roomies would be fine with us being in their room?"
Penelope: "Who cares what they're fine with. I hate them."
Emily: "This was the first room I ever stayed in. I moved dorms after one semester to be with one of my friends, but there's a lot of memories here."

Penelope: "Oh... haha... that sounds pretty fun." *Oh my god, I'm acting stupid again.*

Emily: "You seem pretty nervous when you're around me, Penelope. Is everything okay?"

Penelope: "Oh... uh, everything's fine... I'm not nervous at all..."

Emily: "Are you sure? I don't wanna make you uncomfortable."

Penelope: "Believe me, you don't make me uncomfortable at all. I'm just nervous because... you're literally one of the prettiest sims I've ever seen, and talking to you is giving me all these lovey feelings."

Emily: "Oh, is that so? I didn't know we shared the same feelings. You're the most beautiful sim I've ever seen too."

Penelope: "I am?"
Emily: "By a long shot."

Penelope: *Yawn*

Penelope: "Well, in that case..."

Penelope: "You wouldn't mind if I did this, would you?"

Emily: "I wouldn't mind at all."

Both of their hearts were racing. They both felt so many butterflies in their stomachs.

Penelope: "Was that smooth?"

Emily: "Smooth like butter."

Uh... what are you whispering, P?

Emily: "Hahaha!"

Emily: "Oh my god, there's roomies in here! They might hear!"

Penelope: "I guess you wouldn't mind if I did this either."

Emily: "Did what?"

*Kiss*

Penelope: "Was that good? I've never done that before."

Emily: "It was amazing!"

Emily: "But, I think we can do better than that."

Penelope: "You read my mind."

We already know this is gonna lead to the showers.

Emily: "This moved pretty fast."

Penelope: "Yeah, it did."

Penelope: "We can stop if you want to."

Emily: "Oh, no way. I want it to go further."

Penelope: "Oh, do you now?"

Emily: "Don't do that, you're playing with fire."

Yep, this is definitely going to lead to the shower.

Penelope: "How far do you wanna take it?"

Emily: "All the way."

It was only a matter of time.

Penelope was nervous, but excited.

She'd never done any of this before.

Emily: "See you in a few."

Welp.

I'll just wait out here.

Roomie: "Aight, imma head out."

Oh, there you are.

Emily: "Well, that was fun."

Y'all are dirty, dirty sims.

Penelope: "That was so much fun!"

Penelope: "But I kinda gotta pee!"

Penelope: "Okay, I really gotta pee!"

Penelope: "So, does this make us official?"

Emily: "What do you mean?"

Penelope: "You know... uh... like, girlfriend and girlfriend?"

Emily: "Of course it does!"

Penelope: "Oh, thank gosh!"

*Kiss*

Penelope: "I really like you."

Emily: "I really like you too, Penelope."

Emily: "I'll see you tomorrow, cutie."

*Air kiss*

Penelope: "You'll be back tomorow?"

Penelope: "I can't wait!"

After Emily left, Penelope couldn't stop smiling. She was so happy.

And she was exhausted.

In the morning, it was back to more homework.

Roomie: "You and your girlfriend kept me up all night with your shower adventures!"

Penelope: "Don't be jelly."
