Chapter 143

Guess where Wade is once again?

Wade: "That's right, my secret fishing location."

Wade: "Ah, I love this place."

Wade: "YEEHAW!"

Wade: "Like a true cowboy."

Wade was fishing for about 30 minutes or so, it was a beautiful day.

Suddenly, Wade's fishing BFF Mercury appeared!

Wade: "Yes! My fishing BFF is here!"

Mercury: "Hey, Wade! I mean - fishing BFF!"

Wade: "Hey there, Mercury! It's great to see you!"

Wade: "You're just in time! Check out this kissing gourami!"

Mercury: "Wow!"

Mercury: "Nice catch, Wade!"

Wade: "So, what's on your mind?"

Mercury: "What do you mean?"

Wade: "I can tell when my fishing BFF has stuff going on. Spill it."

Wade: "KABOOM!"

Mercury: "There's nothing going on... nothing at all..."

Wade: "Are you sure?"

Mercury: "Yep! Positive!"

Mercury: "Everything... is just... fine..."

Wade: "I'm not buying it."

Wade: "When you're ready to talk, I'm-"

Mercury: *Sigh* "Alright, you've caught me out. No fishing pun intended."

Mercury: "I'm... I'm pregnant."

Wade: "You are?"

Wade: "That's great news, Mercury! I also have a grandchild on the way!"

Wade: "When did you find out?"

Mercury: "Not too long ago. I'm just... scared."

Wade: "Hey, an angelfish!"

Wade: "Scared of what, exactly?"

Mercury: "About my boyfriend's reaction... and, I just can't tell if he's "the one", you know?"

Mercury: "You've been married for a long time... how did you know Dylan was the one?"

Wade: "Hmm... well..."

*Flashback*

Wade: "Dylan and I were childhood sweethearts, we were inseparable."

*Flashback*

Wade: "Every time I was around her, my heart would race and I'd feel butterflies. That was the earlier stages."

*Flashback*

Wade: "We were always comfortable around each other."

*Flashback*

Wade: "Nothing made me happier than being in her presence. She truly just felt like home to me."

*Flashback*

Wade: "I'll never forget the first time I kissed her."

*Flashback*

Wade: "I know it sounds corny, but it was truly like a movie. Everything just felt right."

*Flashback*

Wade: "But, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. One day, Dylan made some awful friends. They were horrible to her in every way, and they tried to expose her secret that she was a mermaid."

*Flashback*

Wade: "I was enraged hearing them talk down to her constantly. I was usually a quiet and shy person, I couldn't stand confrontation, but watching those sims berate the sim I loved most truly set off emotions I didn't even know I had. I would protect her with my life."

*Flashback*

Wade: "Dylan wasn't too happy with me for defending her. She was worried she was gonna lose all her friends, and she pretty much defended them over me."

*Flashback*

Wade: "It truly broke my heart, but I just couldn't stop loving her. I loved her no matter what, even though she was kinda stupid sometimes."

*Flashback*

Wade: "At the end of the day, we always found our way back to each other. We had a bond like no other."

*Flashback*

Wade: "We all make mistakes, and I was hesitant to forgive her, but I knew that I trusted her with my life. I knew I loved her, but if I couldn't trust her, I wouldn't have wanted to make things better after that. That's the true foundation of any healthy and strong relationship, trust. Without trust, nothing can hold that relationship together, not even love."

Mercury: "Wow... trust? I just don't know if I can trust him. I don't even know his address! I'm also worried about his reaction once I tell him I'm pregnant, will it scare him off?"

Wade: "If something like that scares him off, he was never really yours in the first place."

Mercury: "Yeah, I guess you're right... but what if he's simply not ready?"

Wade: "Then he'd surely have the maturity to sit down and talk to you about it like an adult. If not, you're better off without him."

Mercury: "I guess so..."

Wade is giving some great guidance in his elder years.

Mercury: "Do you think I should tell him about being pregnant yet?"

Wade: "If you're ready, you definitely should. It's better if he does know, I mean, it is his child after all."

Mercury: "I'm just so nervous."

Wade: "Hey, don't be nervous. You want me to tell him for you?"

Mercury: "Thanks, Wade, but I think I should tell him privately."

Wade: "Well, either way, I'm always here to talk if you need to."

Mercury: "I appreciate that."

Mercury: "I guess I'd better rip the band aid off, huh?"

Wade: "Only when you're ready... or when your belly starts to grow to the point that he notices and asks what the hell is going on."

Wade: "On the bright side, at least we caught a bunch of fish today!"

Mercury: "Uh..."

Wade: "Alright, but seriously, good luck in all of this."

Wade: "Whatever happens, I'll support you. I know you'll make an amazing mom."

Mercury: "Gee, thanks, Wade! It means a lot."

Wade: "Now, come give your fishing BFF a hug!"

Mercury: "Thanks again, I'll see you later."

Wade: "See you later, Mercury. Spill the tea the next time we fish, I wanna know everything."

There's a turtle hatching event happening in Sulani!

Penelope: "I can't wait to see the baby turtles! I'm so happy that Sulani is so clean and luscious that turtles have started to lay eggs here again!"

Looks like everyone is excited to see the baby turtles.

Vanessa, Kyrie & Dylan: "Baby turtles, baby turtles, baby turtles, baby turtles, baby turtles!"

Penelope: "Baybay turtles!"

A lot of beautiful, tropical birds are flocking to Sulani now too! This is wonderful!

I'm so excited! Look at that beautiful turtle shaped rock in the background!

Vanessa: "Let's go see some baby turtles!"

Penelope: "Oh my god!"

Penelope: "They're so cute!"

Penelope: "We really did it, we rescued Sulani."
Dylan: "We sure did, and now the island is booming like never before."

Kyrie: "My heart! They're so cute!""

Looks like the good fortune from the temple continues to spread!

Dylan: "Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Baby turtle documentary!"

Penelope: "Oh, yeah... I was totally thinking that..."

Vanessa: "Aren't they the cutest thing ever?"
Kyrie: "I'm the cutest thing ever, but they're second best."

Penelope: "You totally should! That would be amazing, it took us so much to get to this point and it would be a great documentary."

Dylan: "I'm off to film a documentary! See you in 10 hours."

Penelope: "Y'all can thank me for that. These baby turtles wouldn't be able to hatch here if it wasn't for me."

Vanessa: "I'm gonna go swim in the ocean."

Kyrie: "You're the best, P! Look how clean this island is because of you!"

Penelope: "Says the guy who was just calling me a showoff."

Sophia: "Hmm... these are definitely turtles."

Penelope: "Cute turtles, might I add."

Vanessa: "These waters are gorgeous!"

Vanessa is determined to make it to the canoe to take a nap.

Kyrie took this as a perfect opportunity to flex his mermaid tail on everyone.

Vanessa: "Yes, hot dogs! My main pregnancy craving!"

Wade: "You want some fried fish, too? I've got plenty of fish."

Kyrie has begun to authenticate another knife.

Vanessa: "This family is insane! You're all sending me crazy too!"

Wade: "I remember when I first started to catch the craziness too."
