The Parsons Legacy: Chapter 289

Chase is, once again, attempting to convince townies to vote for him as mayor.

Jayde still hasn't left. Why would she? She's having the time of her life.

Servo: "Why do I hear bats?"

Brodie: "AHH! What the heck is going on?!"

Some bats have somehow taken up residence in the Parsons apartment.

Winnie, no!

Hooray! Blaire sat up for the first time!

Now, both of the twins can sit up on their own!

Winnie desperately needed a bath after jumping in the trash she shouldn't have been jumping in.

Now that the twins can sit up, they're able to sit in the highchair and try some solid food for the first time!

Brendan: "Let's try some mashed peas."

Does she like it?

She loves it!

Blaire: "Aaaaa!"

Now, it's Jamie's turn.

Brendan: "Here comes the airplane!"

Let's see if she likes it, too.

Jamie also loves mashed peas!

Next on the milestone list: learning to crawl.

Chase: "I wonder how many votes I can secure today?"

Chase: "Hey there. I'm sure you heard about my policies for increasing wages for food merchants. Does that sound like a good reason to vote for me as mayor?"

Nalani: "How much would our wages increase?"

Chase: "20 whole simoleons!"

Nalani: "Woah! Of course I'll vote for you as mayor!"

Paige: "Come on, Jamie! Come to grandma!"

Chase: "Hello, fellow neighbor. I'm Chase Parsons, future mayor of San Myshuno."

Kiki: "I've heard a few of your planned policies, you've got my vote. I hope you win the upcoming election."

Akira: "Our sim planet is dying as we speak! We need to do something about it!"

Chase: "Hey, here's a protest I can get involved in and get some more votes!"

Chase: "Simoleons for everyone!"

Chase: "We need a universal sim income!"

Chase: "Aright, I think I got my message out there."

Chase: "Hello, I'm Chase Parsons, your future mayor. Make sure to vote for me in the upcoming election."

Rowan: "Will do!"

Chase: "I've almost secured the 20 votes I need."

Chase: "Has anyone told you I plan to fund this gym as future mayor?"

Kim: "You've planned to fund a lot of things as future mayor. How do I know you actually will?"

Chase: "Here's the difference with me and other candidates, they're all talk, but I'll be all action once I'm elected."

*20 minutes later*

Chase: "And I'll make sure-"
Kim: "Alright, you've got my vote, just please stop talking."

Hooray! Chase has secured 20 votes! Hopefully he gets promoted and becomes the mayor.

Chase: "I need some food after all that hard work convincing sims to vote for me."

Blaire is now crawling! Yay!

Brendan: "Here's some strawberry yogurt as a reward for learning to crawl, Blaire!"

Of course, she loves it.

Dipsi: "I love these blueberry pancakes, can I have one?"

Sorry, not for cats.

Blaire has been crawling around non-stop since she learned.

Now, she can learn to stand!

Paige: "Jamie is finally crawling too! I need to take a picture of this!"

Now, Jamie can also learn to stand.

Paige: "You can do it, Jamie!"

Speaking of standing, Blaire just stood up for the first time all on her own!

Brodie: "My grandbabies are growing up too fast."

Chase needs to paint a political mural today for work.

Chase: "This surely should be a great advertisement for my campaign."

Chase: "It's taking quite a while to paint this thing, though."

Brodie and Paige came by to help Chase paint his political mural.

Paige: "Oh my gosh! The spray-paint got on my face!" *Cough, cough, cough!*

Brodie: *Cough, cough, cough!* "This is more hazardous than I thought it'd be."

Chase: "It's coming along pretty nicely, though."

Oh, come on! These neighbors are on my last nerve!

They keep waking up the twins every day with their loud noises!

Brendan: *Knock, knock*

Brendan: "I guess they didn't hear me."

Brendan: *KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!*

Ollie: "What do you want?"

Brendan: "What the heck am I witnessing?"

Brendan: "Anyways, I want you to stop it with the loud noises, my daughters are trying to sleep!"

Ollie: "Woah, relax. I didn't realise I was being so loud."

Chase's political mural is finished!

Paige: "It looks great, if I do say so myself."

Chase: "I really need to tinkle, that took a lot longer than I expected!"

The birthday crew is here to celebrate!

Brendan: "Let's hope the twins fall asleep easily today and aren't woken up by obnoxiously loud neighbors."

So far, the twins are able to nap without any annoying neighbors making noise.

Chase: "Since the twins are toddlers now, what do you say we try for another science baby?"

Brendan: "I'm glad you mentioned it, babe. I was thinking the same thing!"

Servo is on poster collecting duty tonight.

Speaking of collections, hopefully he can finally complete the fish collection.

Servo: "This is a pain in the butt."

Maybe setting up a fish trap will help?

I can see yet another mahi mahi fish here. What will it take to catch one?!

Once again, no luck. Servo will have to come back later.

Brendan: "Let's learn some new words. What's your favorite toy?"

Brendan: "She's gonna be an annoying horse girl, isn't she?"

Brodie: "What do we say when we ask another sim for something?"

Someone left an affirming note on the notice board!

Chase: "I'm gonna leave a note telling everyone to vote for me as mayor."

Paige: "Of course he is."

Blaire: "I love chicken nuggets!"

Brendan: "You were crying because you're hungry, weren't you? Here you go."

Blaire is very happy after having some chicken nuggets for dinner.

Chase: "I'm gonna have some chicken, too!"

Paige is out looking for posters and snow-globes. She also wanted to have a look at the festival that's happening.

Servo is working on the 'World-Famous Celebrity' aspiration. He needs to earn 2 fame points. I read online, and the drone is apparently one of the best ways to earn fame points without joining the acting career.

Paige: "Okay, I collected all the posters, can I check out the festival yet?"

Yes, yes you can.

Chase needs to use a bubble machine for his aspiration.

Chase: "Hey, this is kinda fun!"

Chase: "Mint flavor, though? I hate mint!"

Chase: "I just got an idea... this festival would be the perfect place to advertise my campaign."

You're not wrong. There's lots of sims around.

Chase: "Simoleons for all!"

Everyone is too busy watching this guy perform on the guitar.

Chase: "No one should have to live with 0 simoleons! Not even rags-to-riches sims!"

Chase: "Maybe I can use Servo's drone to stream my campaign online..."

Chase: "Every sim in the world needs free simoleons!"

Iqbal: "He's right, simoleons for all!"

Hey, some sims are starting to join Chase's protest!

Eventually more sims began to join...

...and more sims...

Until this guy started playing the guitar again, then they all stopped caring.

Jenna aged up into an infant!

Brendan: "Now, you can share a room with your sisters.

It's a miracle... they're all asleep. Even Winnie is shocked.

Oh no! Someone defaced Chase's mural!

Everyone here looks shocked except Vita Alto.

Never mind, she looks sad about it, too.

Brendan is up for the midnight feed.

Since Jenna couldn't go back to sleep, Brendan decided to try some tummy time instead.

Jenna: "Waaa!"

She lifted her head for the first time!

Servo: "I'm gonna start a livestream. I wonder if any sims will be interested enough to tune in?"

Drone: "15 current viewers."

Servo: "Hey, that's a lot! I wonder if they'll like my dance moves?"

Brendan: "What the heck is that?!"

Brendan: "Ah! A spider! Get it off of me!"

Brodie: "Now it's on the floor!"

Brendan: "Better than it being on my shoulder!"

Servo and Chase began doing a singing duet together for the stream since Chase's singing is getting better.

Apparently, another way to make sim's fame go up is by selling paintings. Since Servo has the sketch pad and can make paintings in no time, this is a great idea for him!

Wait a minute... is he painting the drone?

Blaire: "The drone is so cool!"

What a great painting!

However, it must be sold for fame points. Sorry, drone.

Servo also needs to update his social media often so he gains more followers.

Drone: "0 current viewers."
Servo: "Are you serious?"

Chase: "Maybe if I sing outside, I'll get some fame points myself."

Blaire: "We need to always say 'please' and 'thank you'."

Brodie: "I'm great at teaching manners."

Servo: "Hey, everyone! Look how rich I am!"

Uh... Servo... the drone ran out of battery a while ago, so you just wasted 10,000 simoleons.

Brendan: "Have you learnt any manners yet, Jamie?"

Jamie: "No."

There's so many skills and milestones being learnt!

Brodie: "Lin-Z."

Lin-Z: "How can I assist you?"

Brodie: "Play some kids radio music for my wonderful grandkids!"

Dipsi: "My ears! Make it stop!"

Ooh, here's a protest Chase might be able to get involed in.

Chase: "A protest? I don't even know what it's for, but sign me up!"

Chase: "What are we protesting, guys?"

Everyone: "No more mayors! No more mayors!"

Winnie: "Why doesn't Servo paint a portrait of me?"

I love all of Servo's paintings, I hate having to sell them!

Jenna sat up for the first time all on her own!

Now, time to learn how to crawl.

The flea market is happening nearby. Someone is selling every metal the Parsons don't have yet!

Paige: "I'd better get down there before another sim buys them!"

Paige: "Outta my way, I'm purchasing these metals and no one else."

Paige: "I bought all the metals we need!"

Woohoo! The Parsons have completed their metal collection! They will be displayed in the Parsons collection room ASAP.

Meanwhile, Servo is back and forward between the 'World-Famous Celebrity' aspiration and the 'City Native' aspiration. He needs to use the bubble machine for the 'City Native' aspiration. Paige wanted to join him.

Servo: "Here goes nothing..."

Paige: "Am I witnessing the first ever robot to use a bubble machine?"

Servo: *Cough, cough, cough!*

Paige: "I guess it's my turn-"

Paige: *COUGH, COUGH, COUGH!*

Servo: "So. Many. Bubbles."

After using the bubble machine, Servo is back down in Sulani to hopefully catch the mahi mahi fish.

The Parsons came to join him so they can have a summer beach day.

These four wanted to build some sand sculptures.

Chase is combing the beach for seashells and Brendan is giving Jenna her midday bottle.

These sand sculptures are fabulous.

Brendan: "Aww, looks like someone needs a nap."

Servo is, once again, giving me nightmares by self-repairing on water.

After scouring the internet and not finding much, the only information I could find about the mahi mahi fish is that it's caught in the deep ocean.

Let's hope it's correct.

Oh. My. Gosh! It worked! Servo finally caught the mahi mahi fish, and the Parsons have completed their fishing collection! Hooray!

Back at home, looks like Dipsi had a kitten with another cat in the neighborhood! Introducing Magnus Parsons!

Winnie also had a puppy with another dog in the neighborhood! Introducing Muffin Parsons!

Hooray! After working from home, Chase has been promoted to level 10 of the politician career! He is now the 'National Leader'! (AKA the mayor of San Myshuno!)

Chase: "Looks like joining all those protests and securing all those votes worked!"

These two are so adorable.

Paige: "Time for you to try your first solid food, Jenna!"

Paige: "Let's see if you like mashed papaya. Here comes the airplane!"

Paige: "Boop!"

Jenna didn't like mashed papaya at all.

Blaire is learning an important Parsons life skill: dancing.

Since Servo is busy, Paige is being trusted to make breakfast.

I'm not sure why, since she has the worst track record with accidentally starting fires while cooking.

She also went down to repair Chase's mural.

Good as new!

Paige: "I can't believe someone would do that. If it happens again, I'll find them."

The humor and hijinks festival is on!

Chase and Servo are here to light some fireworks at the festival for their aspiration. For some reason, Chase felt the need to wear his mayor outfit to the festival.

Chase: "Just showing off that I'm the mayor of San Myshuno."
